Lip Blush (Semi-Permanent Lip Color)

with Gold Coast Exquisite Beauty

The filler is a great solution for creating volume in your lips,

but lip blush delivers a more natural look and gives the

illusion of fuller lips.

This procedure is designed to define lips, not to create volume

or puffiness, unlike the Hii Pen No Needle Lip Filler. Lip Blush will

just give you the appearance of a full lip.

Since part of the process is outlining right on the border of the lip,

your lips are given the appearance that they're fuller.

A tiny mechanized needle deposits pigment into the lips,

which builds layers of color. Lip Blush can also be a

corrective service to help even out the tone of the lips,

but it can also help with asymmetry.

You can choose from a variety of colors, depending on your

natural lip color, complexion, and even eye and hair color.

The lip blush lasts between 3 and 5 years.

Frequently Asked Questions

About Microblading

What are the benefits of Lip Blush?

Lips appear more defined and youthful, Restores color to lips that have become pale, Corrects blurred lip border from age or use of fillers, Camouflages scars and hypopigmentation (may require additional sessions), Kiss-proof, smudge-proof, sweat-proof and water-proof color, Make lips appear slightly fuller and larger, May eliminate the daily use of pencils to outline, fill-in, or reshaping lip borders, and Saves time and money!

What happened during the appointment?

First we will discuss your goals and assess your current lip color

and shape, as well as choose a color. Next, I pre-draw your lip

shape. Once shape is approved I numb the lips for 25 minutes.

After numbing I begin the tattooing procedure which

takes about 2 -3 hours on average.

Lip Blush and all cosmetic tattoo procedures are a TWO STEP

process, which is why you would need a touch up.

The touchup session is needed to address any areas that

may have healed lighter or retained less pigment and

make any color adjustments desired.

Can I still get lip fillers?

Yes!! Lip blush and filler pair wonderfully together and lots of

clients have both! Just make sure to get your tattoo 4 weeks

before or after your filler appointment.

What about cold sores?

Cold sores are talked about a lot when it comes to lip blush.

Lip blush itself will NOT give you a cold sore if you have never,

ever had one. However, the virus that causes cold sores stays

dormant in the body forever - if you have ever had one, you

have the virus in your system. Trauma in the lip area can trigger

an outbreak, so it is required that ALL clients with a history of

colds sores take antiviral medication before and after their

appointment. If you begin to feel tingling or see blisters/red sores

appear after your appointment (usually 2-3 days later), you

should go to the doctor for a prescription as soon as possible.

An outbreak can affect retention. ALL lip clients with a history of

cold sores MUST take an antiviral medication for a total of 5 days

(2 days prior to procedure, day-of, and 2 days post-procedure). Examples of antiviral medications: Zovirax, Famvir or Valtrex.

On the bright side, lip blush is an excellent option for covering

cold sore scars or areas where pigment was lost after having one.
