WHAT IS REIKI AND HOW
DOES IT WORK?
Reiki is a type of energy healing. According to practitioners, energy can stagnate in the body where there has been physical injury or even emotional pain. In time, these energy blocks can cause illness.
Energy medicine aims to help the flow of energy and remove blocks in a similar way to acupuncture or acupressure.
Reiki is an energy healing technique in which a Reiki master (who has undergone formal training in this healing art) uses gentle hand movements with the intention to guide the flow of healthy energy (what's known in Reiki as life force energy) through the client's body to reduce stress and promote healing.

DOES IT WORK?
Reiki is a form of energy healing that originated in Japan in the early 20th century.
Reiki heals by flowing through the affected parts of the energy field and charging them with positive energy. It raises the vibratory level of the energy field in and around the physical body where the negative thoughts and feelings are attached. This causes the negative energy to break apart and fall away. In so doing, Reiki clears, straightens and heals the energy pathways, thus allowing the life force to flow in a healthy and natural way.

1. HOW LONG DO BENEFITS OF REIKI LAST?
After you start feeling an improvement, your last session's effects can last from days to weeks. A general rule of thumb is that if you are consistent with your sessions, you will reap the rewards for longer.
2. WHAT IS DISTANCE REIKI?
Distance Reiki, also known as Remote Reiki or Absentee Reiki, is a variation of traditional Reiki therapy where the practitioner sends healing energy to a recipient who is not physically present.
3. WHAT ARE THE EFFECTS OF A REIKI TREATMENT?
Reiki restores you to a state of balance by unlocking your body's natural healing abilities. It directly influences your central nervous system - it allows you to relax. Once you are relaxed physical, mental, emotional and spiritual healing takes place.
4. HOW WILL I FEEL AFTER REIKI?
After receiving Reiki, you feel: lighter, happier, energized, more relaxed, as if you have been meditating, freer in your body with less physical pain, freer in your mind as situations that once bothered you no longer do.
Occasionally, for a brief period of time, you can also experience: tiredness, sadness, restlessness, anger, slightly lightheaded or nauseous. These states are part of a rebalancing process and soon pass. Take time to rest if you are tired and drink plenty of herbal tea or water.
